St Martin's, Kirmond-le-Mire

The small, historic Victorian Church of St. Martin (seating approx. 40) replaced an earlier building and sits within an area of outstanding beauty - the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Church is always open, providing a spiritual haven of peace and calm for every person - parishioners, walkers, cyclists and people holidaying/visiting the Area. Visitors are ALWAYS welcome.

Kirmond Le Mire comprises 13 households and there is good, enthusiastic, determined support for the church, which enjoys a reputation for its fundraising and special events.   In particular celebrating a Snow ‘drop in’ weekend, Easter Egg Hunt, Strawberry Tea, Harvest and Christmas Carol Services. Unique and special occasions, embracing the worshipping community and visitors alike.

Service Pattern

Evensong Services (1662 Book of Common Prayer) are held on the first and third Sunday of every month of the year. Holy Communion Services are occasionally held. Confirmation of timing and dates can be found on the notice board in the Porch of St. Martin’s and also on this site: link to services
